Launched in 1999, San Cristóbal de La Habana was created to honor Havana’s 480th anniversary. The name itself is a tribute to the original name given to the city by Spanish explorers in 1519—San Cristóbal de La Habana.

Designed for connoisseurs who appreciate refined, elegant smokes, this brand was introduced as a premium, smooth, and balanced alternative to Cuba’s more full-bodied cigars. It originally featured four vitolas, each named after Havana’s historic fortresses:

• El Morro
• La Fuerza
• La Punta
• El Príncipe

Over time, exclusive Edición Regional releases have kept this brand alive, making it highly collectible among aficionados.
